The ability allows Sadae to manipulate and deform almost any kind of metal element specifically or in large numbers simultaneously, enabling her to assemble complex machinery with ease. Long duration of use can prove to be very straining as metals requires much more focus than any other element; the amount of focus needed to be channeled is still depending on the volume and mass of the metal element being manipulated.

She'll be able to utilize it continuously with a maximum duration of 20 to 30 minutes per day, her target for manipulation must be 10 to 15 meters within her range. Use of ability exceeding these parameters would cause Sadae to experience temporary paralysis and severe headache and eventually pass out right after reaching her limit.


[ Mutation : Black Marks ]
At plain sight, the black rectangular marks would seem like nothing but tattoos that circles around the girl's wrists. When she utilizes her powers for more than a span of 5 minutes, like a corroding metal, the marks has a tendency to spread and will appear mostly around her arms; it would occasionally travel up her neck, depending on how long she has used her ability.

An intricate jewelry made out of platinum framing the MGX shard encased in a brown diamond. Usually hidden behind the side locks of her hair, it will occasionally glow whenever her ability is in use, acting as a medium for her to be able to manipulate metal elements with accuracy.

Slightly larger than the normal marbles, these metal balls are made out of pure iron, making it easier for Sadae to manipulate and deform it into any kind of throwing blades in case she needs to defend herself.</sub>

<sub>This young lady enjoys companionship more than anythingelse and likes indulging herself in conversations so long as it doesn't bore her. There is no filter with this girl when it comes to friends, she'd smile at every person she'd catch staring at her and even walk up to them and greet them even if they were a complete stranger to her. Though it may seem that she's easily swayed by her connections with people , Sadae knows when it is to stand firm on her resolve and defend whatever it is that she thinks is right, just like how she's never afraid to ask for what she needs nor hesitant in pointing out anything that was lacking especially if it concerns her relationship with others.  Her candour can usually catch some people off guard and sometimes even throw them into confusion, that people often find themselves in an internal struggle to her straight forward and, at times, blunt demands or responses.

Overspending is probably the only thing that wasn't cured of her from living with her prudent uncle, as it continued to be her outlet for her frustrations over other non-material things she still can't grasp. The bubbly shopaholic may seem hyperactive and happy but she may just be as physically and emotionally tired inside.

A stark contrast to her outer persona, Sadae is actually a person who is deeply aware of everything that's going on around her, an awareness so keen that she's capable of understanding or feeling what another person is experiencing from within her frame of reference.

[ S U M M A R Y ]

<sub>There was only so little of what Sadae Konami can remember on the day of the meteor shower, swinging pendulums and a headache. She was an only child to divorced parents. Having refused to live with neither the father or the mother, the girl chose to stay and live with her uncle who worked as a mechanical engineer. Living with her uncle, she lead a life quite different from the one she used to have, and had therefore struggled at first before gradually becoming independent with the guidance her uncle provided. Her uncle, practically became Sadae's second family, her uncle was ever so kind, patient and understanding to her despite being a workaholic himself.

Her ability activated on the day she almost died from being ran over by a truck -- triggered by the overwhelming feeling of desperation and fear for one's life, the same day the nationwide screening was scheduled. Ever since the day she acquired her limiter, the high school girl spent most of her time researching about metal and working on projects, mentored and supervised closely by her uncle. When her uncle finally decided that she was ready, he had her enrolled to Soren Academy without notice, which Sadae may have half- heartedly accepted as she signed up for the reasearch and development department where she is currently studying as a second year.</sub>

"... pretty"

murmured the girl of three delightedly looking around and seeing the shiny moving objects that was scattered around a maze garden. Little Sadae has escaped from her nanny's watch yet again as a lavish party prepared by a famous pendulum collector carried on. Running deeper into the maze, she tripped, only to find another shiny object that was strangely hidden among the bushes unlike the rest that was proudly displayed for the guests to see.

The toddler crawled closer to touch it, but before she could even land a tiny finger on its surface, the shiny object and everything around her disappeared into white. At the same time, a sharp pain traveled through her head making her clutch to it while she screamed in agony. On the night of the meteor shower, Sadae Konami was found crouching on the ground, crying loudly against the subtle clinking sounds of pendulums around her.

Growing up blessed with wealth, the platinum blonde haired girl was spoonfed of everything her luxurious world could offer, but the young girl, strangely enough, didn't grow into a selfish spoiled brat people have stereotyped rich kids like Sadae to be. The girl was home schooled, taught proper etiquette, discipline and everything she needs to know under household staff supervision that the only thing the family lacked is the personal comfort spending time with their child gave as Sadae only got to see her parents on select schedules.

If there was one thing that the household staff did right it was having nurtured the girl to be humble and understanding so much so that despite the lack of attention, Sadae never rebelled nor complained about not having to see her parents like a child normally should and instead sympathized on her parent's circumstances without question.

Nevertheless, like all ordinary people faced with the same situation, Sadae, as much as she'd like to stay optimistic, wasn't able to ignore the growing ache such detachment gave and instead, with enough money at her disposal, channeled such unwelcome feelings by overspending and being materialistic on purpose. Although she knew all too well that it was just a way to provide herself the little happiness it could give, even if it was just temporary, if it could momentarily replace a small part of the void inside her then she'd want to have it.


"They never chose to be with me, so why should I choose to be with either of them?" a 6 year old Sadae told the man sitting across her as she trembled uncontrollably in her chair situated in the corner of a cramped apartment. The man, Sadae's uncle, could only smile and nod in silence as the child in front of him is now in his custody. Sadae was adamant about her decision of not wanting to fly back to Sweden with her mother nor live in France with her father. And so she stayed with her uncle with the promise of visiting each of her parents from time to time.

Sadae's uncle was a young Swedish bachelor who works for a company as a mechanical engineer in Japan. He was a man of few words and is quite dedicated to his job, working twice as hard as Sadae's parents he would at times put aside his own personal health just to complete a task given to him but despite his busy schedule, he makes it a point to make time for Sadae.

The girl who was not quite used to intimate attention found it unsettling at first but gradually got used to and loved her uncle all the more for it. Moreover, she found it difficult at first to adjust to a lifesyle that was all too different from her previous household; there were no more servants that will attend to her every needs, apart from her uncle's guidance she was practically on her own.

Fortunately for the girl, her uncle has been nothing but kind and patient to her, and would try teaching her simple household chores whenever he had time to spare. In a short span of time, the young Sadae learned to be independent, and although new to the environment, Sadae never felt so happy and so contented with her life now that she was living under the care of her uncle, a real family.

It was not long before the widespread news of magical abilities and mutations reached Japan, which prompted the Prime minister to take action and, like all the other neighboring countries, issue a nationwide screening to identify people who possessed said abilities.

Coincidentally, the screening process was scheduled on the same day Sadae accidentally activated her magical ability --

"Where is she?!"  

The young man who seemed to have ran all the way from the station to get to the emergency room asked in a near shout. Having received a call telling him that Sadae was almost ran over by a truck, the young man could only exhale his exhaustion and worry when he found Sadae alive and well. His relief, however was cut short when he noticed strange rectangular marks suddenly appeared on her skin, evident in black and travelled from her wrists -- crossing the length of her arms until her neck. He watched in panic as the pattern seeped back down to her wrists, one of which was already encased by a limiter.

The uncle, has never felt so helpless that the overwhelming feeling made him drop down to his knees to hug the sleeping girl, afraid and deeply worried for the safety of his beloved niece.

Waking up with a limiter on her wrist, Sadae who have forgotten everything the happened during the incident was initially confused, though not until she was informed about the nature of her ability. Though the fact that she had magical powers frightened her at first, over time, it gradually piqued her interest as she started gathering information on metal elements, alloys and metallic properties, which all came from her uncle's project papers and research about machineries. Sadae would badger her uncle to teach her more about metallic properties and other kinds of metals, much to her uncle's dismay.

Reluctant at first, the uncle eventually gave in to the pleas of his niece and started teaching her everything he knows about the element, including its uses and purposes. These lessons continued throughout Sadae's years in high school, her uncle eventually got so engrossed into teaching that he started training her to be a mechanical engineer like him as well. Sadae, on the other hand, didn't mind and was more than willing to absorb these new information and studied some more.

The girl has finally found something worth dedicating her time for, as it not only helped her understand her ability better but it allowed her to finally help as a trainee with her uncle's work as well. After graduating from high school, Sadae has found herself a place in the company her uncle was working for, though still under the supervision of her uncle who have prohibited her to use her ability even after the thorough research she has done.

On her 17th birthday, her uncle presented her an envelope, and much to her surprise, it contained documents that will allow her to enroll for Soren Academy. Sadae, who has never considered to put her abilities into full use was unexpectedly hesitant despite her undying curiosity on her magical ability. Finally, it was her uncle who encouraged her to take the chance in the hopes of further ensuring her safety despite the threat her ability is imposing.

And so the girl half-heartedly signed up for the research and development department to further her knowledge of machineries and be able to use her ability to further enhance her projects. The girl soon found out that there were still a lot of things she needs to know about her ability, having been allowed to exercise it on their performance in the academy. Sadae struggled to control her ability at first, after never having to use it for so many years. It was then that she became aware of her body's limits, and learned to adjust to such limitations as well.

Currently on her second year, her control over her ability has slightly improved, being able to use it while working on her projects, boding well with her vast knowledge on machineries. Still dissatisfied, the girl knew to herself that there was much more that she'll need to discover...

<sub>- Sadae's father is a Japanese man who worked in France, there he met Sadae's French mother who was taking a vacation with her Swedish brother. The Swedish brother being Sadae's uncle who is apparently working in Japan.
- She was nicknamed Sadako for always having her hair all over her face, and for not even bothering to swat it away. A trait that has prevailed until now.</sub>
